The decor is interesting. The waiters and waitresses are very polite, rough on their English, but polite. The food always comes hot. And the margaritas make the experience that much better.
I suggest the Poblano Relleno dinner. If. Like hot food like me this is dope.
Building Upkeep: floor was disgusting, tables sticky, menus had old crusted food, also had a smell to it(like a big infestation). Honestly looked just as bad if not worse than outside of building.
Very unhappy starting with the food: My son's pizza crust was very undercooked,as well as tortillas, and the rice, rotten lettuce in my burrito. the plates were hotter than the actual food, was told the chili relleno was made with sweet Anaheim peppers, and was actually a very spicy pepper(my grandmother cannot eat spicy food). oh and to top it off there were ants in our drinks-which they refused to refund us for.
Love the food. Hot and delicious. As one other reviewer said, this is real (or closer than most) Mexican food. I try something new almost every time I visit; I am never disappointed. The servers are very slow and need training...but the food makes it worth substandard service. Prices are good. Not a fan of the margaritas.
I do NOT suggest eating here, if you have a craving for authentic Mexican go to Potrillos in Falls City NE.
Rough English but great folks. Mom and pop gig. I work at first street bar and grill and eat there often. We have some of the best dine out food in town but when I want to change things up a bit I go here. Great dinner, you will leave full.
Waitstaff: first, had 1 waiter for entire building, rude, had to flag him down, ask for refills, hand him the basket/cups.
The best Mexican food I have ever ate! Great service and atmosphere! I highly recommend Lod Jarochos, Hiawatha KS.
Prices: if the food was better quality, prices would be okay. Taco bell/Taco John's has better quality food and prices.
